In August 2020, I joined HTEC Group as a Machine Learning Engineer where I am working on a range of deep learning problems in computer vision and natural language processing.
I am also pursuing my PhD with a thesis topic in computational linguistics focused on the meta-analysis of outputs generated by neural networks such as RNNs, transformers, and anything else that may come up while I’m in the process of writing.
People usually have a hobby, but my hobby may just be a second career.
I combined my interests in development and design into creating beautiful online experiences for clients worldwide and making the web a more beautiful and functional place.
My primary focus in development is on the front end of things, but due to my cross-functional coding skills, I can take on a wide range tasks and find solutions to a lot of out-of-the box tasks.
My main research area is in the field of Linguistics, with a special focus on Computational Linguistics.
I worked on project MPNTR-32035 Development of Dialogue Systems for Serbian and Other South Slavic Languages of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, and worked on the development of a mixed-principle rule-based syllabification algorithm for Serbian and its implementation.
I am passionate about sharing knowledge, and I’ve been told I’m pretty good at it.
My past engagements include being the Hard-Skills Lead at Nobel Explorers, an online international STEM camp, the Co-Head of the Linguistics program and Expert Associate at the Petnica Science Center in Valjevo, Serbia, and a Teaching Assistant at Saarland University in Saarbrücken, Germany.
