Big Leaf Boutique is a creative team specializing in tropical installations. In 2019, their website was ready for an overhaul.

In the re-design, I wanted to showcase their work with big and bold images. I opted for an asymmetrical layout through the key areas of the site to lead the visitors’ gaze from section to section as if following a thread guiding them through the main story-line.nThe color palette we chose consisted of earthy tones with the color Linen bringing warmth and Umber establishing a feel of elegance. 

The client specifically requested a set of CTAs through the site leading to their “Get a Quote” form. I made each of these unique, featuring lush vegetation or one of Big Leaf Boutique’s amazing installations with just a slight parallax effect adding more depth to the section.

The copy featured in the design concepts was created as part of the re-design process, and it ended up featured in the live version of the site.

The design was implemented in WordPress by building a theme using the Elementor Pro plug-in. For the needs of the design, a custom blog, single post type, and portfolio template was developed.
